Brown colours are achieved by different types of pigment chemistry. The pigments HD 810 and HD 820 are manganese titanates. These pigments contain no iron in the structure and are therefore especially recommended for use in exterior rigid PVC compounds. The iron chromite produces colours from a warm chocolate brown as seen in HD 855 to a dark, blue shade seen in HD 859.
