Mowiol is a trade name of polyvinyl alkohols manufactured from polyvinyl acetate by alcoholysis using a continous process.
Mowiol grades are devided on two groups:
- partially hydrolysed grades
- fully hydrolysed grades
Main applications: polymerization, films.
